Boon Records in Buckinghamshire & London, England
By: Arthur Hopkins
In researching my Hopkins ancestors in Buckinghamshire and London, I ran across a few references to Boon or Boone surnames. As I usually do, I copied these records, although I have no known Boone ancestors in England. I took reasonable care in transcribing these records, but of course I can’t guarantee their accuracy. Think of them as finding aids to the records themselves, and consult the appropriate films, which are available through the Family History Library.
The Genealogical Society of Utah filmed the basic record books, the Quaker registers. For the most part, the Quaker records I researched were from the Upperside Monthly Meeting, which met at Coleshill and Jordans in Buckinghamshire.
