Name: Mike Rumping <mrumping@fuse.net> Date: 2005-10-08 Comments: Recently we visited Camp Dennison near Miamiville, Ohio. We found a Joseph Boone and his wife and children buried there. Joseph did much of the woodwork in the home of Christian Waldschmidt. Joseph’s wife’s name was Elizabeth, and had two daughters and a son die around 1845-1847. Theyare buried in the old Waldschmidt Cemetary there. I wondered if anyone might know anything about Joseph and his family? Even if anyone doesn’t I thought the Boone family would be interested in knowing about Joseph Boone who’s buried here in Ohio.Mike & Nancy Rumping

I have been researching the Adams Family for over 30 years and I recently made a connection to the Boone Family. My gggg-Grandfather, John Adams, Sr., of Rowan Co., NC, was married to Eve Smith. Her sister, Mary Smith, married Jacob Hunter. Jacob’s nephew, William Hunter (father Henry Hunter, brother of Jacob), married Sarah Boone, daughter of Edward & Martha Bryan Boone. Edward was the son of Squire and Sarah Morgan Boone and brother to Daniel Boone. I think we are all connected in one way or another and I am happy I was able to make the connection to the Boone Family. This is a wonderful site. I would love to find a copy of the book by Sarah Ridge Rockenfeld about the Boone Families. Any suggestions as to how toaccomplish this? I can be contacted at: bccampina@msn.com
