By-laws Section 1.

The Society is historical, educational and preservationist in nature. It supports its Members of research into the genealogy and accomplishments of the Boone and associated families to perpetuate their memory. The Society assists other groups whose purpose is complementary in spirit or parallel in nature to help the Society identify, acquire or preserve information, sites and artifacts relating to the Boone family’s history.

By-laws Section 2.

The Society is organized without profit as a motivation. Its Officers, Directors and Members may not personally profit from the work, income or property of the Society. This Section does not prohibit Member historians or other professionals from sharing their skills and exchanging knowledge with the Society.”
